Representing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune: Speaker of the People's National Assembly Arrives in Belgrade for 65th NAM Anniversary

Representing the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Speaker of the People's National Assembly, Dr. Khalida Boufedeche, arrives in Belgrade to participate in the Commemorative Meeting of the First Founding Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement.

Representing the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Speaker of the People's National Assembly, Dr. Khalida Boufedeche, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lounes Magramane, arrived in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, to participate in the high-level meeting commemorating the 65th anniversary of the first founding summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). She was received upon arrival by the Serbian Minister of Culture, Mr. Nikola Selaković, and His Excellency the Ambassador of Algeria to the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Moncef Mansri.

This historic event is expected to gather high-level representation from the founding member states of the Movement, as well as members of the NAM "Troika."

This commemorative meeting will provide a fitting opportunity to revive the Movement's founding principles established by its founding fathers since the 1955 Bandung Conference and the 1961 Belgrade Summit. It will also serve to renew the commitment to strengthening integration, consultation, and solidarity among member states amidst a complex international landscape marked by the resurgence of polarization and power politics.
