On Margins of UNGA: Minister of State Ahmed Attaf Meets Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos

On the second day of his participation in the proceedings of the high-level segment of the Eighty-First Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Constantinos Kombos. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the state of bilateral relations binding the two countries, as both parties discussed ways to promote and expand them in service of their mutual interests.

The two parties also touched upon the state of cooperation between Algeria and the European Union, exchanging views on the means capable of developing and bolstering it to the mutual benefit of both sides.

Furthermore, the discussions addressed the situation in the Middle East as well as the repercussions of the situation in the Strait of Hormuz on maritime navigation.
