On Margins of UNGA: Minister of State Ahmed Attaf Meets Bulgarian Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova-Chamova

On the second day of his participation in the proceedings of the high-level segment of the Eighty-First Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. Velislava Petrova-Chamova. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the trajectory of bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between Algeria and Bulgaria, and to discuss ways to promote and diversify them in service of the mutual interests of both countries.

Furthermore, the two parties devoted a portion of their talks to examining the state of cooperation between Algeria and the European Union, exchanging views on the means capable of developing it and ensuring the balanced implementation of the Association Agreement between the two parties, in a manner that safeguards the interests of each side.
