On Margins of UNGA: Minister of State Ahmed Attaf Holds Talks with Cameroonian Counterpart Lejeune Mbella Mbella

Continuing his activities on the sidelines of his participation in the High-Level Week proceedings of the Eighty-First Session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held talks with his Cameroonian counterpart, Mr. Lejeune Mbella Mbella. Discussions covered various axes of bilateral cooperation and ways to impart a new impetus to bilateral relations and strengthen them across diverse fields of mutual interest, particularly in light of ongoing preparations for holding the Algerian-Cameroonian Joint Commission.

Both sides agreed to organize this important bilateral milestone at the earliest convenience, enabling officials and economic actors in the two countries to identify priority sectors—namely health, transport, agriculture, artificial intelligence, trade exchange, and capacity building—as well as to advance cooperation and partnership projects to serve the interests of the two sisterly countries and peoples.
