Minister of State Ahmed Attaf Holds Phone Call with Egyptian Counterpart Badr Abdelatty on Bilateral and Regional Issues

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held a phone call with M. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.

The call provided an opportunity to continue consultation and coordination between the two ministers on a number of bilateral, international, and regional issues.

In this regard, both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining the positive momentum witnessing partnership relations between Algeria and Egypt, within the context of efforts aimed at translating the outcomes of the 9th session of the Joint High Commission, particularly in economic fields.

On the multilateral front, the two ministers discussed current Arab and African situations, notably the latest developments regarding the Palestinian cause and developments in the Gulf region, Sudan, Libya, and the Sahhel-Saharan region.
