In Amman, Minister of State Ahmed Attaf Holds Talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan

On the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting in "Support of Jerusalem and its Sanctities" of the Arab Ministerial Committee charged with international action to confront illegal Israeli policies and measures in the occupied city of Jerusalem, held in Amman, Jordan, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held talks this morning with the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hakan Fidan.

The meeting provided an important opportunity to review the state of Algerian-Turkish bilateral relations, where an agreement was reached to convene meetings of bilateral cooperation mechanisms in the upcoming period, particularly the Joint Planning Committee and the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

Furthermore, both ministers exchanged views and analysis regarding several international and regional issues of common interest, notably the latest developments in the Sahel-Sahara region and the Middle East.
