Algeria's Membership Renewed in the Steering Committee of APRM National Focal Points

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Mr. Sofiane Chaib, participated today, Thursday, September 10, 2026, via videoconference, in the meeting of the Steering Committee of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM).

The agenda of this meeting was devoted to consultations regarding the designation of countries representing the North African region within the Steering Committee of APRM National Focal Points.

The meeting resulted in the renewal of Algeria's membership in this committee, in its capacity as a party to the Troika of the APRM Forum of Heads of State and Government, for the period spanning from 2026 to 2028.
