Commemoration of the national day of the martyr
On the occasion of the commemoration of the national day of the martyr, corresponding to the 18th of february, an official ceremony took place in the compound of the Algerian Embassy in Sarajevo, under the chairmanship of the Chargé d’Affairs a.i., and in the presence of the diplomatic members of the Embassy, as well as local staff.
After the raising of the national flag and reading of the Fatiha, a minute of silence was held in tribute to our glorious martyrs, who sacrificed their lives to liberate our dear homeland from the yoke of colonialism and tear off of independence, after long sacrifices.
Finally, the Chargé d'Affairs a.i. invited the present members to taka inspiration from this historic date, affirming that the soul of our martyrs remains an eternal light that will illuminate our path to continue to serve our dear homeland with commitment, honesty and determination.
Glory to our martyrs, long live a free and dignified Algeria.
