On this occasion, the Bosnian minister highlighted the close ties of cooperation, solidarity, and mutual respect that unite Algeria and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized the great interest that his country's authorities have in strengthening cooperation with a large country like Algeria, which enjoys a strategic position and a strong influence in Africa, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean.

For his part, Ambassador Meraimi Mohammed highlighted the depth of historical relations between Algeria and Bosnia and Herzegovina and assured the willingness of the Algerian side to raise these relations to higher levels, responding to the aspirations of the two friendly people.

The meeting was also an opportunity to reiterate Algeria's support for the unity, security and stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its appeal on all political actors to promote the spirit of dialogue and the values of coexistence, which would avoid the country and the friendly Bosnian people the dangers of division and prevent political differences from turning into attempts to undermine the democratic process and disrupt the constitutional and institutional order of the country.
