The Ambassador of Algeria in Sarajevo Signs the Condolence Book and Performs the Absentee Prayer on the Passing of the Father Emir

His Excellence the Ambassador of Algeria to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Mohammed Meraimi, signed the book of condolences at the headquarters of the Embassy of the sisterly State of Qatar, following the passing of His Highness the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, may God rest his soul in peace.

On this painful occasion, the Ambassador expressed to his colleague, His Excellence the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bosnia and Herzegovina, his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to the leadership, government, and people of the sisterly State of Qatar, praying to Almighty God to grant the deceased His vast mercy, admit him into His spacious Paradise, and inspire his honorable family and the sisterly Qatari people with beautiful patience and solace.

Furthermore, His Excellence Ambassador Mohammed Meraimi performed the absentee funeral prayer (Salat al-Ghaib) for the soul of the late Emir at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque in Sarajevo. The prayer was led by His Eminence the Grand Mufti and Reis-ul-Ulema of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sheikh Husein Kavazović, in the presence of representatives of the Islamic diplomatic corps.
