Commemoration of Victory Day corresponding on March 19, 1962

The Algerian Embassy in Sarajevo celebrated the Victory Day corresponding to March 19, 1962. The ceremony was presided over by the Ambassador, Mr. MERAIMI Mohamed, in the presence of the Embassy staff.

After the raising of the colors, the minute of silence, and the reading of the Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of the Revolution, the Ambassador pronounced a speech in which he stressed the symbolism of this date, for the Algerian people, who have led a long struggle to recover it independence and dignity, as well as for many other oppressed peoples who were inspired by this journey to gain their independence.
